Dynamo Kiew won Super Cup against Shakhtar

After they won everything they could in the last season, now they won another match with fierce rivals Shakhtar Donetsk. After 120 minutes the score was 2-2, but Dynamo Kiew managed to win the match after the penalties with 4-2.

Now, Dynamo Kiew is the worst nightmare for Shakhtar fans as they will meet again in a League clash at Donetsk.

Some people will say that the Ukrainian Federation is involved and helping Dynamo Kiew, as Shakhtar accused many times that Dynamo Kiew was advantaged by referees. Dynamo Kiew owner is brother with Ukrainian Federation President.

Football hooligans strikes again

After hooligans incidents from the start of 2007 in Italy, when "Il Calcio" was almost suspended, more and more stadiums are the target of hooligans activities.

This time the incident happened in the Inter-toto second round, between FK VÄ—tra from Lithuania and Legia Warszawa from Poland. Polish supporters fired a considerable number of missiles on to the pitch, causing damage to the stadium infrastructure.

The main problem is that the most incidents happens at low rated matches, and i think that those hooligans wasn't there to see football, but just to get some extra fun. Why they can't find other way to get fun, instead of ruining football matches. People should come to stadiums to see football, not fights and missiles.

Legia Warszawa was banned from Uefa Competitions for one year, but this can't fix too much, because the hooligans will find other matches to launch their missiles.

Ronaldinho fronts FIFA 2008

Electronic Arts released the first details of FIFA 2008 which will be released in autumn.

The players appearing on the cover of FIFA 2008 are: Ronaldinho, Miroslav Klose, Sergio Ramos, Andreas Ivanschitz, Tranquillo Barnetta, Florent Malouda and Frank Ribery.

Individual moves and playing style are captured for each player and digitised for the game.

Probably the main reason because Ronaldinho will front the cover of the game is the private facility from Barcelona which captures player moves. His team was knocked out from Uefa Champions League competition in the first round after Group Stages, and the player had one of his worst seasons. I think AC Milan's Kaka, or Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo would fit better.

Manchenster smashed AS Roma scoring 7 goals on the Theatre of Dreams

After first leg when AS Roma won 2-1, they knew it will be a very difficult game on Old Trafford, but no one thought Manchester will have so great display.

Goal after goal, probably the highest scoring game in Champions League this year. We expected this kind of results in the early stages of this competition, but scoring 8 goals in a quarter-final is something very rare.

Cristiano Ronaldo was man of the match and scored his first goal on his competition, if he will have the same display in one more match he will win the golden boot this year.

Shame for AS Roma, he now keep the record for the highest defeat in the final stages of Uefa Champions League.

This year England have 3 teams in the semi-finals of the competitions, meaning that England teams are the best at the moment. In 2004, 3 teams from Italy qualified for the semi-finals. In 2002, in the semi-finals were 3 teams from Spain.

Probably you are asking who is Elton. Elton Jose Xavier Gomes is a brazilian attacking midfielder, recently transferred to Steaua Bucharest.

Saturday, in a game with a local team, he scored in his first game for his new team, this is really a excellent debut for any player, but that is not all, he enjoyed his football and integrated himself very well in the team, serving his team-mates with many good passes.

Steaua Bucharest, which was knocked-out from Uefa Cup by last year winners, Sevilla, couldn't find his way after failed to win all matches from 2007, was resurrected by this wonder kid, for their first victory with 2-0 against FC Arges Pitesti.

Steaua Bucharest was in trouble, after they lost some of it's best players, because of injuries or suspicious red cards, but now, many predicts that the 1,58 tall player will become a star for his club.
